Who We Are
Denyse Maxey
Executive Director
Denyse Maxey currently serves as the Senior Regional Manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield and the
Executive Director of the Tyrese Maxey Foundation. She has been in the Health Care industry since
1998. She studied at Sam Houston State University and has established several strong relationships
throughout Chicago, IL as well as the Southwest region of the Nation. Her comprehensive knowledge of
marketing, community involvement, and vast skill set is resourceful in educating and assisting the
underserved community. Programs that Denyse has implemented include a mission to retain and grow
her insurance business, increase overall brand awareness and provide service to the community through
education and promotion.

Denyse is not a Texas native but has lived in Dallas County since she was a child. She has over 25 years in
the health care industry with 15 years of experience in the Consumer Markets division. One of her
strongest assets will be her experience in marketing which will allow her to create and develop new
community programs.

Denyse is an active member of several community groups, including Exceptional Women and has
previously served in many volunteer roles with the local school districts. In 2008 Denyse took a 5-year
break for Corporate America to focus on family and build her insurance business. During this time, she
built a health insurance book of business which consists of retail individual, small groups and
government members totaling more than 2 million dollars in premiums. Her extensive knowledge in the
health care industry and marketing will be a huge asset in today’s marketplace and community. One of
her greatest accomplishments in life is being a devoted wife and Mother.

L. Denise Williams
L. Denise Williams is the Executive Director of Supplier Ops & Services. for Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), managing a billion-dollar portfolio of more than 200 suppliers. Williams’ 23-year career at HCSC includes experience in customer service, care management, client reporting, employee incentives, requirements and testing, and supplier management. L. Denise holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, a master’s degree in Business Administration and a Graduate Certification in Healthcare Management. Williams is also a proud 2019 graduate of Leadership Women Texas. She is a flexible, people-oriented professional who is passionate about diversity and inclusion in all aspects of business and her personal life. Outside of work, Williams loves to give back in the form of community and non-profit board service. In addition to the role of Secretary for The Tyrese Maxey Foundation, Williams has previously served as the Advisory Chair for Fit and Faithful Living, is currently serving her 3rd year as the Vice Chairman of the Dallas Chapter of The Boardroom Project, has worked with Camp iHope for 7 years in the Dallas area and a host of other non-profit organizations. She has a big heart and an extraordinary love for people and enjoys serving them in any capacity.
Kenneth Robinson, a native of Dallas, Texas, is a seasoned veteran in the
Software Development and Consulting Industry. Mr. Robinson holds a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M
University, Class of 1993.
He is the founder and Managing Partner of CIS-Computer Innovation
Services, Inc., a software solutions and consulting organization that has
been in existence over twenty (25) years. Founded as a sole
proprietorship, CIS provided technology-based consulting services to
various clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Incorporated in 1998, CIS
now services customers world-wide with its software and technology
solutions. While CIS services various clients in multiple industries, it has been
extremely successful in providing software solutions for the Supply Chain
Logistics, Oil & Gas and Automation industries. A list of distinguished
clients is long and includes notables such as Dell Computers, Delta Faucet
Company, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Riceland Foods, Inc., Petro-Hunt LLC,
and Pioneer Natural Resources to name a few.
Mr. Robinson has a long list of civic duties and accomplishments. In 2008,
he and the company were awarded the Aggie 100 designation for the top
100 Aggie ran businesses for the past year (ranked #15). In addition, and
in the same year, he was awarded the Alpha Phi Alpha Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Mr. Robinson serves as Board Member for the Association of Former
Students of Texas A&M. And he is a founder and former President of the
Texas A&M University Black Former Student Network. He is a Life
Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is involved in several other
business ventures. Mr. Robinson is married to the beautiful Ann-Marie Robinson; and they
have a wonderfully blended family with 6 children: Kenya ‘20, Kennedy L.,
Kenneth II, Kent ‘25, Kamryn and Kennedy R.
Mr. Robinson enjoys a great life of business, networking, civic
responsibility and family fun.
